Cure for back pain: what drug should you choose?

Drugs in case of lower back pain

Although painkillers can’t cure back pain, they relieve pain and give the opportunity to deal with its causes, e.g., physical therapy, and the ability to work. There are many categories and types of drugs from lower back pain.

They are chosen depending on the severity of symptoms, duration, location, and possible side effects.

Anti-inflammatory drugs

The first drug, which is usually adopted by people, is non-hormonal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or naproxen, which are sold without a prescription. They are considered the lightest analgesics, and usually people use them at first.

Although acetaminophen does not belong to the NSAIDs, but is also widely common pain reliever for back pain.

Muscle relaxants

If pain relievers do not help, your doctor may offer you to order soma online or other muscle relaxants – drugs to relax the muscles.

Muscle relaxants of central action remove excess muscle tension, reduce severity of pain, due to which there is improvement of motor function. The course of treatment with muscle relaxants in spinal osteochondrosis is carried out to a persistent relief of pain, and it can take up to several weeks.

The use of only non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of muscular-tonic syndrome caused by osteochondrosis, rarely leads to a rapid improvement in the health of the patient, as it continues to persist muscle spasm and violations of mobility in the affected segment of the spine.

There can be substances such as cyclobenzaprine, tizanidine, baclofen, Soma carisoprodol and so on. These drugs help to combat the muscle spasms that cause back pain.

Muscle relaxants such as Soma can be particularly useful for traumatic pain. For example, cheap Soma significantly reduces pain and improves the functioning of the three days of treatment.

Most of these tools have side effects, the most common – drowsiness. If you order soma without prescription and have not taken a similar medicine, you should not drive a car or perform other tasks associated with the high concentration.

Auxiliary therapy

Why is back pain treated with antidepressants or anti-seizure drugs? They can be effective for treatment of the specific type of pain caused by nerve problems.

Some antidepressants, e.g. duloxetine, and drugs for epilepsy, for example, pregabalin or gabapentin can be helpful with nervous symptoms. Other antidepressants, such as amitriptyline or nortriptyline can be prescribed for chronic back pain. If back pain occurs because of infringement of the nerve (in such cases, the pain is often transmitted in the leg and you feel numb), one of these tools can be effective.

These drugs have similar side effects. The most common ones are: headache, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, insomnia, sexual side effects, fatigue.

You must call your doctor if you have serious side effects like allergic reaction (itching, urticaria, edema), changes in heart rhythm, convulsions, hallucinations, aggression, mood swings, suicidal thoughts.

Regardless of the drugs, which you take for back pain, they should not be your only way to relieve pain. It is also very important to use soma muscle relaxant and apply a therapy, especially if the pain has not become chronic. You should be sure to consult your doctor.
